Corporate Responsibility

Corporate Responsibility

At EDMUND TIE, we recognise that as part of the wider community, we have the responsibility to be socially active so that the communities we operate in can benefit from positive change

Managing responsibility and sustainability every step of the way

We believe that people are the bedrock of society and each person brings with them unlimited potential. As such, we seek to embark on insightful corporate responsibility projects that empower people to achieve their goals.

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Singapore

We collaborated with RMHC, a charity committed to directly improve the health and well-being of children in Singapore. We spearheaded a few initiatives such as organising trips for our colleagues to visit the children seeking medical help at the National University Hospital (NUH); we also sold socks to help them raise funds and participated in their programme Tubs of Love, where colleagues came together to fill baby bathtubs with newborn layette items that were given out to needy mothers.

EDIS Cares

For two years in a row, we organised charity movie events for beneficiaries from EDIS Cares, the CSR arm of the Economic Development Innovations Singapore (EDIS). Children from underprivileged families enjoyed a rare weekend treat at GV Suntec City with our colleagues. In 2017, we also collaborated with them to host an art competition.

Food from the Heart

Colleagues from the headquarters and Property Management came together to volunteer their time with Food from the Heart.

We spent two meaningful sessions sorting, packing and delivering donated food items such as rice, biscuits, canned food and milk to the needy living in the heartlands.

Boys Brigade Share-a-Gift

Every year, our staff participate in donating daily necessities such as rice and oil to beneficiaries of the Boys Brigade Share-a-Gift programme.
